Bummed About Mentions, Mercedes-Benz Gets Creative

Concerned that more and more fashion reporters are leaving the "Mercedes-Benz" part out of what is known officially as "Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week" in New York, the luxury car marketer has come up with a novel solution.

Women's Wear Daily reports that it has launched an online "newsgroup" that allows journalists to run fashion-show photos for free on the condition they credit the sponsor.
