Warner Bros. Launches Animated T-Works Site

  • September 7, 2007
Warner Bros. Entertainment will launch T-Works next spring--a Web-based animation site intended to bring together the key characters from the studio's properties. Viewers can watch originally produced shows and hundreds of hours of classic library episodes online, as well as playing games to explore virtual worlds.

T-Works will include characters from Warner Bros. Animation, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera and DC Comics under an ad-supported Web area. Key to the animated site is that it will give fans online tools to incorporate a virtual world, such as avatars, into their lives.

First up from Warner Bros. Animation--in development with Studio 2.0, the original programming digital production arm of the Warner Bros. Television Group--is an untitled "Batman" short-form series and an untitled project based on "The Wizard of Oz" that will debut exclusively on T-Works.
