Citi Unit Targets Women With Clever Twists

Women & Co., a division of Citi targeting women, is launching a national ad push this week that uses a humorous twist on platitudes to confront stereotypes around women and money.

"Dividends are a girl's best friend" and "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue chip," are headlines launching in print ads this month. The ads use Citi's tagline and red-arc logo "Let's Get it Done."

The ads run in lifestyle publications and newspapers like The New York Times and in October issues of national magazines including Real Simple, More, Vogue, O: The Oprah Magazine, Gourmet, and Cookie.
