Avon Products Boosts Marketing Chief To President

Avon Products has promoted Elizabeth "Liz" Smith, formerly executive vice president/president of North America and global marketing, to president of Avon Products, Inc.

In addition to her current responsibilities, she will now oversee global supply chain and information technology, "giving her full, end-to-end leadership for the company's product-to-market processes, infrastructure and systems," the company says. She continues to report to Andrea Jung, Avon's chairman/CEO.

Andrea Slater, formerly president of Avon U.K. and a 17-year veteran of Avon marketing, becomes president, Avon U.S.
