It used to be the WWF. Now the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) is playing to it’s strengths. It’s new programming schedule goes heavy on developing the individual identities of its two most highly rated properties – Smackdown and Raw.

Beginning in May, the Superstars of WWE Raw, which airs on TNN every Monday at 9 p.m., will be featured in two new programs - WWE Sunday Night Heat and WWE Bottom Line. The Superstars of WWE SmackDown! which airs on UPN/Thursday, 8 pm will be featured on two more new shows - WWE Velocity and WWE After Burn. The company has also developed a new Saturday night program called WWE Confidential that will feature the overall World Wrestling Entertainment brand.

"This new line up better reflects our brand extension, and will further define the WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown! brands, as well as advancing and reinforcing storylines and our superstars," said Linda McMahon, CEO of WWE.
