Based on advance sales for May and June, the company expects Scripps Networks advertising revenues to increase from 8 to 12% during the second quarter compared to the same period the prior year. The company previously had expected Scripps Networks advertising revenue to be up 3 to 6%. The improved outlook reflects a strengthening cable television scatter advertising market.
