Scarborough first joined MSNBC in 2003 as host of prime time's "Scarborough Country," which Abrams has been filling since Imus left. He will continue to anchor the 9 p.m. hour
Monday through Thursday and will be a presence throughout NBC News as its chief legal correspondent. But Abrams will cede his role as the network's general manager and pass day-to-day responsibilities
for the network to NBC News senior vice president Phil Griffin.
