Cinema Ad Spending Surges 37%

Cinema ad spending rose 37 percent to $315 million in 2003, according to estimates from a Miller, Kaplan, Arase & Co. audit released Monday by Screenvision. The report, commissioned by the Cinema Advertising Council, also finds that Screenvision ranks as the largest cinema ad network in the market, with a 55 percent share of U.S. cinema ad spending.
