First Half Online Advertising Soars To $10 Bil

Online advertising peaked in Q2 and spending was nearly $10 billion during the first six months of 2007, per the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The Web--no surprise here--is the fastest-growing segment of the ad business. During the second quarter it rose 25.4% from 2006.
