IT services company U.S. Technology plans to tap its good name and offer software outsourcing services under the UST Global brand. The effort aims to position the company as a worldwide firm.

For the past eight years, Aliso Viejo Calif.-based U.S. Technology has served many Fortune 500 businesses in the United States that took businesses global. Now its more than 5,000 employees will support IT and business process optimization services from various locations around the world under a new name.

In addition to the United States, UST Global has locations in Canada, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and the Philippines, as well as Trivandrum and Chennai, India.
