Durex Launches Condom Test Contest

Durex, which accounts for 29% of global condom sales, is launching a promotional and market research campaign in the U.S. in which some consumers will get to test the condoms and report back to Durex for the chance to win $1,000.

People who want to try out have until Nov. 4 to sign up at DurexCondomTester.com and complete an application, which includes explaining how often they use condoms and why one wants to be a Durex tester.

The 1,000 men and women who get chosen as condom testers will get a supply of vibrating rings, lubricants and assorted condoms.--Karl Greenberg
