Long-time trade journalist Scott Donaton has left
Advertising Age to become publisher of Time Inc.'s
Entertainment Weekly and EW.com. Donaton, who most recently was publisher of
Advertising Age, had spent most of his career in the Crain Communications' publication's editorial department, including a stint as editor. Donaton fills a post that has been vacant since
mid-October, when David Morris stepped down as
EW publisher, and marks the fifth person to hold the publisher's post in five years. No successor was named to replace Donaton at
Advertising
Age, but David Klein, vice president-publishing and editorial director of the Ad Age Group, will serve as interim publisher.
