Online game publisher Big Fish Games has acquired Seattle-based Thinglefin, a multiplayer online (MMO) game development studio.

Through the acquisition, the company adds seasoned MMO developers Toby Ragaini (Thinglefin's cofounder and CEO), Jeremy Friesen and Ryan O'Rourke to its roster.

"The Thinglefin team and product vision are best in class among emerging MMOs," says Jeremy Lewis, CEO and president of Big Fish Games. "Toby and his colleagues fit incredibly well within our ecosystem of creative freedom and forward-thinking innovation, and they represent an important part of our long-term strategy."

Both casual and hardcore gamers can find titles at www.bigfishgames.com, as Big Fish keeps the selection fresh with its pledge to launch "A New Game Every Day!"
