The Custom Publishing Council (CPC) has announced the launch of Pearl, a new awards program celebrating custom publishing's excellence in editorial, design, and strategy. Entry forms have been
mailed to custom publishers throughout North America and are due in to the CPC by September 7. Judging will take place in October and the awards will be presented at the CPC's fall meeting, which will
be held in Chicago on November 19.
According to the CPC, North American corporations now produce nearly 116,000 different custom publications annually and spend as much as $29.9 billion in the
process.
