The Effie Awards has announced the inception of the Green Effie Award, which honors effective eco-marketing campaigns and is sponsored by Discovery Communications¹ network, Planet Green.

The Effie Awards recognize the most significant achievement in marketing communications: effectiveness.

The Call for Entries period begins Jan. 3, with an entry deadline of Feb. 15.

Awards will be presented at the 40th Annual Effie Gala on June 4 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
