PopCap Games Launches Peggle for iPod

Casual game players now have the option of playing Peggle on their iPods, as developer PopCap Games made it available via iTunes on Tuesday.

Users can download Peggle from the iTunes store for about $5, and the game is available in five languages, including English and Spanish.

Seattle-based PopCap reports that Peggle has been downloaded more than 10 million times on the Web since the game debuted in March 2007.

The company develops and distributes both paid-for and ad-supported games via the Web, mobile phones, gaming consoles and in retail stores.
