San Diego Trib: More Layoffs

Another newspaper has been hit by devastating layoffs. The San Diego Union-Tribune axed 27 jobs on Tuesday, and is outsourcing 18 artist positions in the advertising department later this year.
Last month, a voluntary buyout program nixed 76 jobs.
