Fenway Sports Group Adds Japan Trip

Fenway Sports Group, a marketing division of New England Sports Ventures, owner of both the BoSox and Fenway Park, is adding a high-end trip to Japan to see the Sox play as part of its travel destinations program, Red Sox Destinations.

The trip will bring high-rolling fans along on its season-opening series in Tokyo vs. the Oakland Athletics.

Fans shelling out the $4,999 get lower-level seats at three games at the Tokyo Dome; roundtrip private charter airfare from Boston to Tokyo along with many Red Sox front-office executives; four nights hotel accommodations at the team hotel, the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo; a private reception with select Red Sox players and personnel; Premium Red Sox travel bags and other merchandise; organized sightseeing opportunities around Japan, and other amenities.
