Wi-Fi operator Boingo Wireless has tapped Ji-Wire to sell and serve ads on its network of airport hotspot sites.
Through the deal, Boingo users will see online display and video ads
during the login process at 28 major U.S. and British airports including Atlanta-Hartsfield, JFK, LaGuardia, O'Hare and London's Heathrow.
Advertisers on Ji-Wire's Wi-Fi ad network include
Charles Schwab, Microsoft, Nokia, and Toshiba. Boingo provides Wi-Fi access via 100,000 hotspots worldwide, while Ji-Wire, reaching 40% of passengers at the top 100 North American airports.
