Undertone Networks is beefing up its publisher services, naming Eric Franchi as senior vice president of media and operations, and bringing in Weather.com alum Peter Green as senior vice president of
ad sales.
In his newly created role, Franchi will focus on ensuring that Undertone continues to meet the needs of publishers as it scales out, in addition to spearheading the
development of platform upgrades and new product launches. Franchi most recently served as the ad network's senior vice president of ad sales--the role that will now be filled by Green.
Green
comes to Undertone from Weather.com, where he also served as senior vice president of sales. During his tenure at The Weather Channel property, overall sales grew to over $100 million in 2007,
following revenue growth of over 38% in 2006.
