Halstead Teams With 'New York' To Beef Up Real Estate Listings

  • January 29, 2008
New York Media and Halstead Property have inked a content sharing deal that will populate real estate listings on Halstead.com with restaurant, bar and retailer info from nymag.com--the Web component of New York magazine.

Users searching the real estate listings on Halstead.com will be able to view the closest local attractions, as Nymag.com will pipe info to the site via a live feed. Hyperlinks allow users to open a new window to get more info from the New York magazine site, and Halstead makes it easier for them to get there--by including Google Maps data and subway and bus routes via Hopstop.com.

Dubbed "Real Access to New York," the companies will promote the partnership through a major ad campaign in New York magazine, The New York Times, and other outlets.

"With thousands of listings at Halstead.com, we identified a need to provide more information to our clients and customers. By partnering with New York Media, we are able to provide the consumer with valuable editorial content to the top restaurants and shops within a few blocks of our residential listings," said Diane M. Ramirez, president of Halstead Property. "Now, people can visit Halstead.com and determine which open houses to visit and find that great restaurant to dine at afterwards."
