Even as the online world was still catching its breath from Microsoft's industry-altering bid to acquire Yahoo, the M&A market continues to percolate with AOL announcing a deal of its own, albeit a
far smaller one, to acquire widget developer Goowy Media Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but AOL said San Diego-based Goowy would continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the
AOL Products division.
