Lurie is moving up from his position as senior vice president of strategy and development to replace resigning CFO George E. Mazzotta.
In his new role, Lurie will oversee finance, investor relations, planning, and corporate development. Prior to joining CNET Networks in 2006, Lurie was a vice president of investment banking at JPMorgan in New York and San Francisco, where he led the firm's equity and M&A efforts in the Internet sector.
