Mahindra, the first line of Indian-made vehicles to hit the U.S. market, will be supported by ads from New York agency StrawberryFrog.

Global Vehicles US., Inc., will distribute the vehicles. Mahindra, the first Indian vehicle on the U.S. market, will bow in mid-2009. The company says nearly 300 dealers in 48 states have signed on.

The company will initially sell an SUV, Scorpio, and a pickup truck offered in both two-door and four-door models.
