Key Digital Pairs With Universal Remote

Video technology provider Key Digital has partnered with remote control maker Universal Remote to promote consumer electronic device interoperability in home automation.

"Key Digital's collaboration with Universal will enable the use of audio and video processing, switching and distribution while maintaining home automation control and ease of use," said Michael Lakhter, Key Digital vice president of sales.

Key Digital manufactures digital video processing and video signal distribution solutions marketed broadly to the HDTV community.
