CBS and NBC are going to air their cable hits on broadcast. Showtime's "Dexter" debuts on CBS this week. NBC plans to run recent seasons of USA Net's "Monk" and "Psych" in April. Even AMC's "Mad Men"
may see a broadcast airing. "Not only is this a new business model, it's a better business model," argues NBC scheduling and strategy chief Vince Manze in
Variety. "Shows have been going the
other way, to cable, for a long time. Now you're going to see it going both ways."
