Anyone working on a financial services account might want to check out a new J.D Power survey. It says investors are putting heavy emphasis on their investment firms’ trustworthiness and ability to
keep them informed of market conditions. "In times of economic turbulence and market volatility, consumers value investment firms that have proven track records and give advice investors can rely on,"
said Ellen Guion, senior research manager of investment services at J.D. Power. Research shows A.G. Edwards and Edward Jones rank highest in customer satisfaction in a tie among full-service
investors. Both firms show strong performance in the key satisfaction drivers of customer service, advice, account management and information resources. They are followed closely by Dain Rauscher,
Legg Mason and Raymond James. UBS/Paine Webber, American Express and Morgan Stanley also rank above industry average.
