Media Battle Of The Bands

Executives from the cable and advertising industries will perform at the Citymeals-on-Wheels 15th annual "Media Battle of the Bands" on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6:00 p.m. at B.B. King Blues Club. Five bands--B.J. Arnold, "Paper Doll," "Captain Delicious," "Men with Big Hips" and "The Creamsicles"--comprised of cable network and ad agency pros, will perform to raise money for Citymeals.

Since 1993, "Battle of the Bands" has raised over $3 million for Citymeals--and this year is expected to raise enough money to provide more than 55,000 meals for homebound elderly New Yorkers. Nearly 40 sponsors will make the "Media Battle of the Bands" possible this year. In addition to six hours of live music, the "Battle" will feature a wide array of food donated by Lucille's.
