The Times of London reports that Apax Partners may bid for Reed Business Information. Apax, the private equity group, owns the business-to-business publisher Incisive and recently paid £1
billion for Emap, in partnership with Guardian Media Group. Combining Reed's assets with Emap leads to synergies.
