Ex-'Trib' Exec To Lead DeVry Marketing

DeVry University, one of North America's largest degree-granting higher education institutions for business, healthcare technology, technology, and management education, has named John Birmingham as its CMO. Birmingham will oversee the marketing, brand management, public relations and program marketing functions for DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management.

Birmingham brings 16 years of marketing experience to DeVry University--having most recently served as VP/marketing for the Chicago Tribune, overseeing all internal and external communications, sponsorships, research, advertising and brand development. Birmingham also held marketing positions with increased responsibilities at Discover Financial Services, Foote Cone & Belding, and Leo Burnett.
