Ipsos Acquires Monroe Mendelsohn Research

Ipsos has acquired 100% of Monroe Mendelsohn Research, a leading independent media, marketing and opinion research company in the U.S. Monroe Mendelsohn Research was founded 50 years ago and acquired in 1978 by Walter McCullough, its current president/CEO. The company's clients include Fortune 500 companies and major U.S. law firms. The new company will be renamed Ipsos Mendelsohn. Among its major media clients are Conde Nast, Time Warner, Dow Jones, Hearst, and Hachette. Its major ad agency clients include Publicis, WPP, Havas, Omnicom and Aegis, as well as smaller shops. Monroe Mendelsohn employs more than 20 people in its New York offices; in 2007, it had sales of over $10 million dollars.
