Tribune Co. is joining two media entities in one space: the broadcast and interactive operations of its Miami station, WSFL-TV, with its Fort Lauderdale-based newspaper, the
South Florida
Sun-Sentinel. The goal is to enhance cross-promotional content and market coverage. Howard Greenberg will become GM of WSFL, in addition to his roles as newspaper publisher and interim publisher
of the
Orlando Sentinel. Allyson Meyers will be WSFL's station manager.
