N.J. To Potential Tourists: 'You Have Arrived'

  • March 26, 2008
The Garden State is launching an integrated ad push hitting the Eastern Seaboard with a "You have arrived" message, borrowed from the automated voice in GPS systems.

The effort comprises two 30-second TV spots, plus radio, billboards and the Internet. The TV ads tout Jersey for cycling, culture, restaurants, the Cape May area, birdwatching, spas, doowop, amusement parks, and history.

The ads will run in Toronto, Ontario, Roanoke, Va., Cincinnati and New York. Billboards on major arteries will show the state's attractions as colorful GPS screens.

Radio ads suggest itineraries. Tag: "Great Destinations in Any Direction."
