Dorm Life' Web Series Snags Sponsorship From Campusfood.com

  • March 26, 2008
Campusfood.com has inked a sponsorship deal with "Dorm Life," the Web-based pseudo-reality series produced by Attention Span Media. The New York-based network allows students from more than 300 campuses nationwide to get menus and order takeout from over 2,500 chains and independent restaurants.

The "Dorm Life" series follows the lives of 10 fictional college students over the course of 20, five-minute episodes--complete with individual Webcam vignettes and a multimedia Web site designed to bring viewers in on the action with exclusive photos, message boards and mobile clips. As part of the sponsorship, Campusfood.com will be featured in the vignettes, as well as on the www.Dorm-Life.com site.

"We wanted to offer our viewers an extensive interactive site on all platforms. The collaboration between Attention Span Media's 'Dorm Life' and Campusfood does just that," said Peter White, founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based Attention Span Media. "Our viewers can now order dinner at the click of a button, without having to miss a minute of any of the episodes. This is 'dinner and a movie' for the short-attention-span generation."
