Unilever To Launch Dove Digital Channel

Calling it a major initiative in the digital space for a consumer brand, Dove says the channel will reside at dove.com.

It brings together the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and the product portfolio globally through a partnership with Microsoft's MSN and Ogilvy. The innovative new interactive, multimedia channel launches first in the U.S. and will be rolled out to the UK and Canada in the next three months.

The channel will feature an editorial board of experts, guest editors and "ambassadors," all of whom will drive conversation around today's "burning questions"--provocative, timely and relevant topics that are central to the real beauty debate, Dove says. Women will have the opportunity to join the conversation in a positive, educational and inspiring environment through blogs and message forums, and can learn about products through video shorts, op-ed pieces and editorial online.
