Travel Marketers Win Awards

The Association of Travel Marketing Executives has named the winners of its 28th Annual ATLAS Awards, which will be given on June 12 in Las Vegas. The award honors and promotes leaders and innovators within the travel industry who have displayed breakthrough thinking and leadership specifically in marketing.

New to the 2008 Awards is the Top Marketer Category, which recognizes people behind successful marketing initiatives and strategies. This year's recipients are Kirk Thompson of Hilton Hotels and Joanne Smith of Delta Airlines.
