History Channel Has Strong June

The History Channel's strong ratings have continued this June with strong showings in several areas. First, The History Channel posted increases in both average primetime ratings and delivery of males 25-54. In June 2003, The History Channel delivered a 13% increase in primetime household ratings - an average 0.9 AA %, up from a 0.8 in June 2002. Also in June, The History Channel posted 17% increase in the Male 25-54 demo - 0.7 AA%, up from 0.6 in June 2002. The History Channel ratings for June set records for the most-watched and highest-rated show for both nights of the 4-hour special Russia: Land of the Tsars with an average 3.0 HH AA % and 3.4 million viewers. Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked delivered the youngest audience for a special in several years, delivering a young audience with a median age of 36.8 while posting a strong 1.2 HH AA %. Other top rated programs on The History Channel in June were History Now: Sons of Saddam, with a 1.8 HH AA%.
