Carvel Sponsoring 2008 'Kick It' Tour

Ice cream franchise Carvel Corporation will sponsor the 2008 "Kick It" tour, a nationwide soccer tour pitting teams of three players.

The tour visits the top 50 markets and culminates with the World Championships at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fla.

Participants can sign up to win Carvel Ice Cream cakes. The brand will also host the Carvel Family Accuracy challenge in which parents and children will face-off kicking goals and winning prizes according to their respective scores.

Kraft Easy Mac Cups will be available at 60 Kick It events. Kraft will serve as the sponsor of an interactive activity during the event, in which participants and spectators will have the opportunity to compete for prizes.--Karl Greenberg
