The polished 1960 look that shines in AMC's "Mad Men" is now in Bloomingdale's windows. That's thanks to a collaboration that joins the retailer with the award-winning Madison Avenue ad drama, set in
the Sterling Cooper agency, which sells everything from cigarettes to political candidates. Now through June 16, and in advance of the "Mad Men" season two kickoff July 27, Bloomingdale's will feature
windows, store visual, and a shop dedicated to the trademark styles of the era. Bloomingdale's will prominently showcase "Mad Men" in 14 locations in June and July.
In New York,
the entire Third Avenue window stretch will be dedicated to "Mad Men," featuring merchandise by Theory and sparkling Baccarat barware, the trademark MAD MEN silhouette logo, audio excerpts from the
show's soundtrack, and "Mad On's"--catchy, suggestive one-liners from the series' main characters--which will be represented creatively within each window display.
