Game Show Network Tour Finishes Production

Game Show Network's National Get Schooled Tour has completed production and handed out more than $150,000 in prizes. The tour logged more than 11,000 miles, traveling to 14 cities beginning with San Francisco on March 15 and ending in Philadelphia on May 31. The contest awarded $10,000 in college tuition to winners in each market and to a national online winner. The tour garnered more than $3 million in promotional support, which included Bank of America, Comcast Corp., Charter Communications, Cable in the Classroom, Sony Electronics, CompUSA, Spencer Gifts, Premiere Radio Networks, Vivendi Universal Games, Sony Pictures Entertainment's Screenblast, Sketchers USA, World Book Encyclopedia and Collegeclub.com. More than 400,000 people attended the tour, which featured a live game show, as well as a hands-on Interactive Game Zone with demos of Wintuition, Cram and Lingo.
