Search's improved ability to crawl and index content. Now, a company's documents don't have to exist within Google's core index for Site Search to find and return them in results. It also raises the
question of whether Google will start to supplement its own core index with data from Site Searches.
According to Nitin Mangtani, Google's lead product manager for enterprise search, Site Search pages will not be shared with the Google.com index, but other data, such as the actual queries visitors entered, may be used by the core index at some point.
