Dry cleaning companies are offering consumers "Clean, Pack & Go" services that pick up clients' travel wardrobes, cleans, presses and packs and ships the items to their travel destinations.

Foldable items can be packed into the client's suitcase, while high-end items, such as business suits and dresses are hung in a properly sized and protected, corrugated cardboard box, with dowels and crossbars for shipping.

The service, says one dry cleaner, eliminates tips for cab drivers and bellmen as well as charges for hotel valet service.--Nina M. Lentini
