Advance/Newhouse Communications signed an agreement Wednesday to combine its one-third stake in Discovery Communications, reports
B&C. Currently, John Malone leads owns 66 2/3% of the Discovery
TV channels. Discovery will now become a new publicly traded company: Discovery Communications, owner of Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
