CBS, RealNetworks Offer Streaming Cover of Big Brother 4

  • July 8, 2003
CBS and RealNetworks Inc. announced that for the third year in a row, the two companies have joined forces to provide 24/7 live video streaming from the Big Brother house. The Webcast coverage premiered Tuesday following the first episode of Big Brother 4, and will be accessible through the official Big Brother 4 Website. Subscribers can watch any one of four live camera feeds form the house or catch all of the action at once with a quad-cam view, which allows fans to see four different video feeds simultaneously. Subscribers can also access other key components of the Website, including detailed summaries of all the events that happen during each televised broadcast, a chat room, interactive Big Brother Fantasy League game where fans compete for prizes based on the events that happen in the house, and other extras. Last year, more than 65,000 new subscribers joined the Big Brother 24/7 service each watching an average of one hour and 40 minutes of live coverage a day.
