Report: Corporate Raider Raises Stake In Havas

French corporate raider Vincent Bollore has raised his stake in Havas to 20 percent, Reuters reported Tuesday. The news follows mounting speculation in the financial and advertising trade press that Havas may soon go into play, possibly as part of a deal engineered between Bollore and WPP Group chairman Sir Martin Sorrell. Reuters said Bollore now controls 20.69 percent of the voting rights of Havas, which is the parent of the MPG media network.
