Bloomberg Television is the first U.S. network to carry live stock market data from Europe on its morning broadcast instead of the previous day's U.S. market results. The channel began carrying live
data on 31 U.S. stocks trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange during its Monday morning broadcasts. It carries the label "In Europe" and will run from 5-9:15 a.m. Monday through Friday. It will be
atop a second crawl, which will run Amex, NYSE and Nasdaq data. After 9:15 a.m., Bloomberg Television's regular layout of NYSE, Nasdaq and Amex will return. Bloomberg Media head David Wachtel said the
31 companies were picked because they averaged at least $2 a share and a volume of 10,000 shares per day.
