MediaPost Launches Research Initiative

Online market research firm InsightExpress and MediaPost announced a partnership that will provide advertisers with exclusive insights into the issues facing media professionals. The two companies will jointly create and execute monthly industry surveys to MediaPost's exclusive Planner & Buyer Panel. The critical trends and survey data are extracted directly from a unique community of media planners and marketing professionals, and for the first time will be made available to media outlets, advertising agencies, and publishing organizations on a monthly basis. Media professionals will have access to industry opinions, benchmarks and other valuable content, through MediaPost editorial, by serving as a member of the Planner & Buyer Panel, or by advertising with MediaPost. Topics will include spending levels, media trends, and emerging practices. The new partnership solidifies an ongoing collaboration between InsightExpress and MediaPost that has already helped organizations benefit from survey data on issues including 2003 ad spending and forecasting, the practice of product placement in television, and television advertising and planning.
