The Outdoor Channel announced it had signed an exclusive two-year programming deal with Primedia Outdoors for five television properties. The programs are In-Fisherman TV, Guns and Ammo TV, North American Whitetail TV, Professional Walleye Trail and Primedia's Best Outdoors. Guns and Ammo TV will debut this month. Primedia's Best Outdoors will premiere in 2005 and the remainder of the programs will debut in 2004. Outdoor Channel Vice President Wade Sherman said Primedia's outdoors shows - particularly In-Fisherman and Guns and Ammo TV - are respected in the marketplace. "The fact that Primedia concluded we were the best opportunity for them to meet their business objectives over the next two years validates all the work we have done over the last 10 years to build an environment by sportsmen for sportsmen," Sherman said.
