ABC has ordered a drama and a sitcom for midseason replacements, Entertainment President Susan Lyne said. The drama, as yet untitled, comes from the creators of Party of Five. It will take place among the upper-crust of New York City in a single building on the Upper West Side. It's a production of The Tannenbaum Co. in association with Warner Bros. Television Productions Inc. Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman are the writers and executive producers. The sitcom, called The Big House, stars Kevin Hart with characters loosely based on his own family. Hart plays a wealthy, pampered African-American man from Malibu who moves to Philadelphia to live with his working-class relatives after his father loses all of his money. The Big House stars Hart as Kevin, Arnetia Walker, Keith David, Yvette Nicole Brown, Aaron Grady and Faizon Love. The executive producers are David Nevins, Brian Grazer and Stephen Engel. The series is a production of Imagine Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television.
