Canadian animation producer Cookie Jar Entertainment will acquire the DIC Entertainment Holdings, based in Los Angeles, as part of a merger worth $87.6 million. The proposed Cookie Jar-DIC alliance
will create an indie animation and brand management behemoth, possessing 6,000 half-hours of programming.
